Dr. Lynette Ametewee PhD MA LLM MBA is President & CEO Founder and Director of Research & Evaluation at B.A.L.L.E Foundation in Ghana. Prior to this, she worked as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at Morehouse School of Medicine in the United States. During her PhD Program at Georgia State University in the United States, she worked as a Research Assistant supporting international projects in Sub-Saharan Africa and completed two O.R.I.S.E Research Participation Fellowships at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention including field missions to Ghana.

Dr. Ametewee had previously taught certificate, undergraduate and postgraduate courses and served on thesis committees as Adjunct Lecturer/Researcher at the Graduate School of Governance and Leadership (now Accra Business School), Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Ghana Telecom University, Concord Business College, and the Institute of Local Government Studies. She has also worked as a Research & Evaluation Consultant for several organizations in Africa including as a National Evaluator for the World Bank/DANIDA/Ghana Council of Technical and Vocational Studies Skills Development Fund Programme.
Dr. Ametewee is currently a Fellow on the University of Pittsburgh L.E.A.D.S translational research programme and an Independent Investigator with Pontificia La Javeriana University, Colombia. She has co-authored publications and presented research at several international conferences. She has worked as a Consultant for national and international organizations in the United Kingdom and across 26 Caribbean countries including the United Nations and UK Central and local government. Dr. Ametewee holds a BA in Law/French and Masters in Criminology (Middlesex University, UK), Masters in Corporate Finance Law (University of Westminster, UK), an MBA in Strategic Management (Aston University UK), and a PhD in Public Health (Epidemiology) and Master’s Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from Georgia State University, USA. She is a native English speaker and proficient in French and Spanish. She is a Director of Sweet Lin Institute in Ghana and Global Heads Limited in the United Kingdom.
