Experience & Activities

Colleen Chater has significant experience in education and training having worked in schools, colleges, awarding organisations and training providers. She has held senior management positions in these sectors and been a Principal of two colleges, judged to be outstanding. She has developed qualifications and curriculum delivery for international organisations and worked with the Department for Education in the UK on government educational initiatives. She has also participated in the OCR national committee regarding qualification provision and delivered training internationally on the quality of teaching, learning and assessment. In addition Colleen has been an educational consultant with a range of organisations in the public and private sectors, including Times Supplements Ltd and been a member of the Court of Birmingham University. Colleen is a Director of both ATHE Ltd, an Ofqual recognised awarding organisation and EduGrowth Ltd. She has published books for students on Economics and the European Market.
